Draft it in the conversation
A draft is yours alone until you send it — the other party cannot see it.

Structure, split, timeline, what each side is responsible for. The proposal is what gets pinned if it is accepted, so vagueness costs you later.
A sent proposal is not edited
Withdraw it and send a new one instead. That is deliberate: terms someone is reading should not change under them.
Accepting opens the Deal Room
It also declines any other pending proposal in that conversation, pins the agreed terms, and unlocks contact details between the two of you.
